Sanrio, the brand behind the ubiquitous character Hello Kitty, planned to raise awareness in China for the umbrella brand when it was still at a low consumer awareness in China. Within 3 months, our social media campaign increased the number of Weibo followers from 10,000 to 330,000 through cross-branding promotions, lucky draws and fun contents.
